Ryan Dennis takes 6-9 as the 1st XI bowl Horsley and Send out for division record 27, whilst the 2nd XI win to move top of the table!

A great weekend of results as all four sides record wins for the second time this season.

The 1st XI travelled to Horsley & Send looking to bounce back from last weeks disappointing result to Hampton Wick and that they did! Having lost the toss and being put into bat, Scudder (30) and Ramsbottom (49) went about their task well before the former was bowled with the score on 41. From then, the innings didn't really get going, bar Josh Wright (35), no one else made double figures and the we were all out for 154 from 47 overs. O'Shea finishing with 6-26 for the hosts.
In response the home side were blown away by our opening duo Ryan Dennis (6-9) and Stefan Kaltner (4-17). Having made 15 for their first wicket, they went into complete meltdown and were bowled out for 27, a new record low for the division. Six players recording ducks as they were shot out in 18.4 overs.
After 5 games, the 1st XI find themselves 4th with 3 wins from 5.It's Kempton next who have made a similar start. Scorecard

The 2nd XI welcomed Oxted & Limpsfield to Vicarage Road, looking to continue their good start to the season, having won the previous two. Losing the toss, we were put into bat and again made a quick start. Harrison leading the way with 41, we again found ourselves in a good early position before losing a few quick wickets. Solid middle order performances steadied the ship, Dix (37), Ramasamy (26) and Hook (36) saw us to what felt a slightly under par 200 all out in 54.3 overs.
In reply, O&L were never really allowed to get going as a tight opening spell from Shah and Pandit saw the visitors 5 down and well behind the rate. A resilient spell of batting for the next wicket frustrated Egham but after Ramasamy accounted for both batsmen, the win was in sight. A quick flurry of runs from Woodward did nothing to change the likely outcome and Egham soon had the win, bowling O&L out for 96. Karthee again the pick of the bowlers with 4-34.
The 2nd XI have won four from five and currently top the division 3 table. Next up they travel to Sanderstead.

The 3rd XI, hosting Staines & Laleham, won the toss and put the visitors into bat. An early wicket set the tone for the innings as we would bowl Staines out for 120. First change bowler, Michael Hawes, with 4-16 from 9 overs.
Despite losing Brijesh early in our reply, Crawford Wilson (33) and a chance-less 71 not out from Rob Mainwaring meant we reached the required total in 25 overs, losing 4 wickets along the way.
After five games the 3rd XI find themselves in mid table with two wins. This weekend they travel to an unbeaten Valley End.

To the 4th XI who also faced Staines & Laleham won the toss and elected to bowl first at our local rivals. A tight but wicket-less opening spell lead to a change of bowling and a steady fall of top order wickets from then on. The tight bowling continued and if not for 8,9 and 10 batsmen, who put on 86, S&L would have posted a lowly target. As it was, they finished on 164-9 from 40 overs.
In response we quickly got about the task of chasing down the total, with Viki leading the way with 45. Another captains innings from Ramesh (38*), ably supported by Balaji (21*), saw us over the line in just 25 overs.
The 4th XI have won three from five and currently sit 4th. This weekend they welcome Valley End to RHU.
