After last weeks four from four, it was a bit of a damp, damp squib this week as only the 4th XI get the win.

1st XI (H) vs Kempton CC
Kempton CC - Won: time by 4 wickets
The 1st XI were looking to carry on up the table following last weeks comprehensive victory, with the visit of similarly placed Kempton to Vicarage Road.
The ground was in good shape considering the weeks inclement, with thanks to Pete and Bob for their efforts the previous day to get the track playable!
Having been inserted by the opposition, a patient start by opening pair Scudder (12) and Hepponstall (29) was not built upon as Egham batsmen too often got themselves out to a bowling attack that was not doing anything remarkable; eventually finishing well below par on 130 all out in the 50th over.
In reply Kempton made steady progress against an Egham attack that huffed and puffed but could not quite find the breakthroughs regularly enough. Despite losing six wickets along the way, Kempton reached the total in the 40th over. Ryan Dennis again the pick of the Egham bowlers with 2-41 from 14 overs.
