Excellent wins for the 1st and 2nd XI's as both keep up their promotion hopes.

1st XI (A) Weybridge Village CC
Egham CC Won by 5 wickets
The 1st XI made it back to back wins on the road as they overcame Weybridge Vandals in relatively comfortable fashion. Having lost the toss and been asked to bowl, they set about the task well with openers Dennis and Kaltner again making it difficult for the opposition to get going. Dennis bowling tightly, allowing Kaltner to make in roads at the other end, removing two of the top three cheaply. The momentum remained with Egham as change bowlers D Morris, Telford and Hannon continued testing the home side with guile and aggression, plugging away to take regular wickets that saw Vandals fall from 84-4 to 103 all out in 40 overs. Pick of the bowlers was Morris who returned 4-31 from 11 overs.
In reply Egham set about their task resolutely and despite losing Gilmour early, were able to patiently build against an accurate opening pair through Sparrow (30) and Dix (24), who put on 51 for the second wicket. Despite three quick wickets following the second, Egham had enough to come and a run a ball 20 from Telford saw Egham to the total with 30 overs to spare.
The 1st XI are in 3rd place and welcome mid table Sinjuns to Vicarage Road this coming Saturday.
